I have been Outbid, What do I do?

You have been outbid when another buyer has placed a higher maximum bid than yours, therefore you are not the current high bidder on that specific property. You need to bid again.

Another thing to remember is sometimes you will be outbid as soon as you enter your bid, even though the bid you entered was higher than the current bid shown on the item listing. When this happens, you will  be notified immediately via an additional webpage that prompts you to bid again.This happens because another buyer had a higher maximum bid than yours already entered into the bidding system. Your bid may prompt the International Realty Auction System to raise other buyers'  bids above yours if we are bidding in increments for an absentee bidder or if there are other maximum bids in the system.  If that happens, feel free to continue bidding as you see fit.  The other bidder may have placed their last bid hours or days before.

I want to wait until the end of the auction for last-minute bidding?

Placing a high bid in the closing seconds of an auction-style listing is a great way to win over the other bidders, and all bids placed before a listing ends are valid - even if they're placed one second before the listing ends.

To help avoid disappointment, ensure that the maximum bid you enter on the item page is the highest price that you're willing to pay. The International Realty Auction Network bidding system will automatically increase your bid in appropriate increments up to the maximum price you specify, so entering a higher maximum may help prevent you from being outbid in the closing seconds of an auction.

Email notifications for being OUTBID

If you're outbid on a listing, you will receive an email notification.

When another buyer's bid exceeds your maximum price, you'll receive an email letting you know that you have been outbid. You are prompted to BID AGAIN!

End of item notice

When an auction ends, an email is automatically sent to losing bidders, informing them that they didn't win the item.
